1. About these terms
These terms apply to all sessions, workshops, retreats and other experiences ("services") booked with The Sacred Cocoon, run by Mary Jain ("we", "us"). By booking or paying for a service, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, message us on WhatsApp at +91 80732 15811 before booking.
2. Booking and payment
A place is confirmed only when we receive full payment through our official payment links (Razorpay) or another method we confirm in writing. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include what is stated on the service page. Nothing in a payment link overrides these terms.
3. Who can join
Participants must be 18 years or older. Some practices (breathwork, ice baths) are not suitable for everyone - see the health and safety section below. We may decline a booking or ask someone to leave a session if their behaviour risks the safety or comfort of the group, without a refund in such cases of removal for safety reasons.
4. Health and safety (important)
Breathwork and ice baths involve physical and emotional intensity. You agree to: (a) share honest information about your health when asked, including heart conditions, respiratory conditions, pregnancy, recent surgeries, epilepsy, psychiatric conditions and medication; (b) follow the facilitator's instructions at all times; and (c) consult your doctor before joining if you have any medical condition or doubt. Participation is at your own risk to the extent permitted by law. We are not a medical or mental-health service, and our sessions are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.
5. Changes and cancellations by us
If we cancel or postpone a session or retreat, you may choose a full refund of what you paid or a transfer to a future date. We are not responsible for your travel, visa, or other personal costs.
6. Cancellations by you
Bookings are non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to someone else at no charge (at least 7 days before the start). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Photography and media
We may photograph or record sessions for our website and social media. If you do not want to appear, tell us at the start of the session or message us any time and we will respect that.
8. Personal belongings
You are responsible for your belongings during sessions and retreats, including phones, jewellery and valuables brought to venues or the ice bath area.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, design) belongs to The Sacred Cocoon and may not be copied or reused commercially without written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
